Too Good For Drugs- Elementary and Middle School Curriculum Training

This training is intended for substance use prevention professionals in Texas who implement the Too Good For Drugs Curriculum.

Curriculum Training – In Person

Competency is essential for any instructor delivering an evidence-based prevention program like Too Good. The fidelity model for Too Good for Drugs includes completing a Curriculum Training session as part of its built-in quality assurance mechanism.

Participating in a Too Good Curriculum Training is your first step to implementing the Too Good programs with confidence, results, and fidelity to the implementation model.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS TRAINING?

  • Implementation Coordinators/Directors
  • Implementation team members

IN THIS TRAINING SESSION, PARTICIPANTS WILL:

  •   Explore the extensive research and rationale behind Too Good.
  •   Apply evidence-based best practices and discuss their effectiveness.
  •   Learn strategies for building resiliency.
  •   Learn how to teach essential life skills and prevention strategies.
  •   Gain valuable hands-on experience delivering the Too Good program activities.
  •   Explore the sequential development of skills and concepts through each grade level.

Continuing Education Hours: 6.0* 
Satisfactory completion of continuing education hours (CEHs) requires attending at least 85% of the training duration, participating in activities, and completing the training evaluation.
