SUMMARY:Too Good for Drugs (TGFD) Curricula TA for First-Time Implementers Pt 1 – Virtual
DESCRIPTION:\nDescription\n\nThis is not a TGFD curriculum certification training. This is a TA session designed to help Too Good For Drug curriculum providers implement program with confidence, results, and fidelity to the implementation model. This virtual session can be used as an in-house training waiver.\nAudience\nThis curriculum technical assistance session is intended for Youth Prevention Universal (YPU) program providers who are approved by Texas Health and Human Services Commission to implement the TGFD curriculum.\nParticipants will be able to:\n1. Identify components and structure within a TGFD lesson\n2. Determine which adaptations are proper (enhance effectiveness of the lesson) in comparison to improper adaptations (weaken effectiveness of lesson)\n3. Identify supporting resources on the TGFD website\n4. Deliver a TGFD Lesson with fidelity\nContinuing Education Hours: 6.0* total over 2 days\nSatisfactory completion of continuing education hours (CEHs) requires attending at least 85% of the training duration, participating in activities (e.g., polls, breakout rooms), and completing the training evaluation.\nContinuing education certificates will be emailed to participants after participation in all required training components are verified.\nTime shows in Central Time (US and Canada)\nAgenda:\nWednesday, October 25, 9am-12pm \nThursday, October 26, 9am-12pm \n\nRequirements:\nThis TA session is virtual, occurring live over Zoom. It will take place over 2 days.
